My work is focused on the generation and applications of ultra-short coherent soft X-ray light either on
table-top laser high harmonic sources or LCLS X-ray free electron laser (see below a selection of
relevant publications).
- “Attosecond Synchronisation of high harmonics soft X-rays”
Mairesse, Y., et al. Science 302, 1540 (2003).
- “A high-intensity highly coherent soft X-ray femtosecond laser seeded by a high harmonic
beam” Zeitoun Ph., et al. Nature 431, 426 (2004).
-“Macroscopic control of high-order harmonics quantum-path components for the generation
of attosecond pulses” H. Merdji, et al.,Physical Review A 74, 043804 (2006).
-“Isolated attosecond pulses using a detuned second-harmonic field”
H. Merdji, et al. Optics Letters, 32, (21) 3134 (2007).
-“Coherent control of attosecond emission from aligned molecules”
W. Boutu, et al. Nature Physics (2008).
- “Injection of harmonics generated in gas in a Free-Electron-Laser providing intense and
coherent extreme-UV light” G. Lambert, et al. Nature Physics 4, 296 (2008).
