Student in task D.2.a. - Observations in Exp w/Variable Bunch (Siegmann, Stohr).
My research focuses on the ultrafast interaction of relativistic bunches with thin film magnetic samples. Specifically I concentrate on the dynamics of magnetic and electronic phenomena excited by such bunches when the magnetic field is strong enough to induce ultrafast precessional switching and the accompanying electric field is strong enough to rival the ligand field of the atoms.
